"I began with below-average compensation for this position, with the promise of profit sharing and performance bonuses. Being this would be my first role as a project manager, I took that compensation in stride to challenge myself, only to never receive any additional compensation through performance or profit-sharing. I had been nominated for a quarterly award twice during my time with NRP. This nomination came directly from each department head and voted on by peers. Only after direct discussion with the President of the company was I granted with additional compensation. This position required constant travel, unrealistic hours and sacrifice of a work/life balance."
