I've enhanced the established accounting and finance procedures by incorporating my knowledge of macros and other processing techniques, and really enjoy performing the service because it allows me to get out on the water. The ability to roll up my sleeves and participate in the revenue generation allows me a perspective of the numbers on the spreadsheet that I wouldn't otherwise perceive.   "I love creating new information management systems and meeting my customer's challenges - and there have been many. I love drawing up the schema and connecting all the dots then turning that into a tactile product.I hate documentation because, while necessary, the process is tedious and subject to constant revision. In fact good documentation takes more time than the programming. I also hate how the uninitiated look at IT as if it grew on trees.
