What do you like about working at Prince Telecom?
"Good experience and decent pay when the money is there. Improving a little as far as legal consistency."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do it for the experience but don't stay unless you have a wife who can pay the bills. Follow the sarcasm and depression. If the techs look miserable, expect a six day hell hole of constant changes, high turnover rate for both techs and sups. Jump in and hang on as long as you think your willing to. I spent an obscene amount on fuel and mental power. I made 800 bucks a week on average last year, barely making 350 bucks a week now, and that's before fuel costs."
What don't you like about working at Prince Telecom?
"Long hours, low pay for triple plays and quads. Required to have company phone 24-7. When trying to reach a supervisor no answer. Supervisors expect everything for nothing. Write ups for anything and everything. Constantly fighting with payroll for payroll mistakes and proper compensation. Endless bickering and misunderstandings between Comcast and upper management. Unreal expectations unless you can cook the books."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hire smart people and hire from within, or at least hire people who don't seem like they just came from the lemon lot car company. Heck hire supervisors that at least have a 72% grade on comprehension and a basic understanding of how the real world works. Or give me 20 bucks an hour and a gas card and I'll do just about anything work related."
