What do you like about working at Prince Telecom?
"Good experience and decent pay when the money is there. Improving a little as far as legal consistency."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do it for the experience but don't stay unless you have a wife who can pay the bills. Follow the sarcasm and depression. If the techs look miserable, expect a six day hell hole of constant changes, high turnover rate for both techs and sups. Jump in and hang on as long as you think your willing to. I spent an obscene amount on fuel and mental power. I made 800 bucks a week on average last year, barely making 350 bucks a week now, and that's before fuel costs."
What don't you like about working at Prince Telecom?
"Long hours, low pay for triple plays and quads. Required to have company phone 24-7. When trying to reach a supervisor no answer. Supervisors expect everything for nothing. Write ups for anything and everything. Constantly fighting with payroll for payroll mistakes and proper compensation. Endless bickering and misunderstandings between Comcast and upper management. Unreal expectations unless you can cook the books."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hire smart people and hire from within, or at least hire people who don't seem like they just came from the lemon lot car company. Heck hire supervisors that at least have a 72% grade on comprehension and a basic understanding of how the real world works. Or give me 20 bucks an hour and a gas card and I'll do just about anything work related."
What do you like about working at Spectrum?
"I enjoyed working independently and within customer's work and home."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I have no real interviewing tips for this company, as successful candidates have varying experiences."
What don't you like about working at Spectrum?
"Work of this nature is inherently at the mercy of the weather. It is not the company's fault, simply a reality of the environment."

"You really have to love this kind of work to do it."

"You very rarely had many days of usually only about 3 to 4 a month."

"They should work harder with workers that are straight out of training"

"Stay Away!!! Run as fast as you can.You will end up paying out of pocket to work for them"

"EVERYTHING ELSE. told to do the work and will be compensated. then after you spend your time, energy and gas they tell you it is your fault for believing them!"

"close your doors and shut down your complete scam of a business"

"The small company atmosphere."

"Attrition would be the only way you would advance. One more word to make the minimum required for this block."
What don't you like about working at Custom Cable Assemblies?
"Leadership/Managers would only speak up about your performance when there was a problem, not when you actually did something well. That was the only way you knew how you were being evaluated. Also, when you come up with a good idea, it is listened to - only. Not actually put into practice because of old habits."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Organize the building(s) and actually follow up on company policies when people break them. Better Leadership, less procrastination, BETTER ORGANIZATION. Not saying 'yes' to all of the customers requests so quality could actually happen, rather than be stressed only rather than be followed."
