"Don't expect to become a manager. The chain of command is very short."

"The large amount of freedom allows us to slack off."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have software developers learn attend training meetings for various processes around the plant that can be influenced by in-house software. They'll gain a better understanding on how the company works and what can be done to help the employees do their job more accurately and more quickly."
