"I've worked for Prescott Yellow Cab for several months. The pay is 1/2 the fare + tips. On average I take home $3.00 per hour. They provide no training but get very upset if you don't do everything perfect. You are tightly controlled. In between fares you are required to park and wait in specific spots. If you need to leave the driver seat for any reason you have to get permission from dispatch. The boss avoids communicating but if something happens he doesn't like, he has a terrible temper. They control when you work, what you wear, where you park, if and when you can eat, who you serve. The Company claims to be a "Christian Company" but their actions and behavior show no evidence."
