"This is the worst sales culture I've been involved in within 30 years of highly successful sales. They sat me at a cluttered desk with 4 prior salespeople's cards scattered on it. They go through Salespeople like water through a screen door!! They gave me a gas card that didn't work. When I turned in receipts he said I had to wait for the lousy $60 bucks & I would have had to pay for gas again the next week. Trivial but wow - totally unprofessional. All week I had to scratch out someone's name on business cards & write mine in because never ordered my cards. I did that almost 200 times! After 1 week in the field literally making 50-60 cold calls a day I got a text that questioned I was really in the field making calls. They have 4 different ways they want to track every minute of your day because they don't trust their salespeople. Well, salesperson because I was the only employee. They want you to type in live every stop you make & the result of stop - even the garbage calls - so they can see it live update as you are typing it in! Over the top! They have no concept of how to run a street-level B2B sales territory. They have a CRM but it's set up wrong & its sales funnel has 25 steps to it. After 1 week in the field, I felt like I had been unhappy at work for 2-3 years. I could go on about how things changed I was told in an interview about the reality of working there but I won't. Plus the quotas are huge & they hold back half the commissions till the end of the year in case you come up short of years quota! I got out after 2 weeks, what a mistake! JUST KEEP LOOKING FOR ANOTHER POSITION!"
