"I don't recommend working for this company."

What do you like about working at Poly-West?

"Not too much. I liked my department manager and my team mates but beyond that, see below."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"You have to be desperate for a job to work for Poly West. Should something go wrong or business slow down, you will be fired rather than laid off and you will be denied unemployment benefits because they will say you were let go for misconduct,"

What don't you like about working at Poly-West?

"Benefits were all but non-existent. They were self insured and many doctors in this city would not take the insurance. Further, they had no organization when it came to work dispatching and often, the workers hampered our work efforts by getting in our way with flashing work orders literally in our faces. Too many managers didn't know how to manage the production or facility and often, other managers stuck their nose into business that wasn't theirs to mind! Management was not organized or thoughtful about what needed to be done or when it needed to be done. We often worked with inferior parts being supplied to maintenance. This caused more work in the long run."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Fire the lot and start again. It's the nicest thing I can say."
