"There is nothing not to like in this organisation it is still new here in the states and it is growing very fast for the past 3 years"

"The freedom to make my own decisions and run the plant the way I wanted too with just a minimum of interference but a lot of support."

"The old Longview Fibre no longer exists but is now operating as a smaller company with the same name."

"The fact that it was sold and my career with them had come to an end."

"The challenge of turning a poor performing plant around and improving the work environment."

"The decision to close the plant after many improvements had been made and the progress that was still happening."

"Look at the overall progress and don't base life changing decisions based on events in the past."

"Being micro managed and the political agenda of some of the management members."

"Very poor management and this is why the company has failed."

"Get solid Leadership in to run the organization. We were making lots of money when we ran teh Plant and now they are losing."

"No, they were overall a great group of people to work with."

"Sometimes there was poor communication which lead to more work than needed to be done."

"Communicate more and let the in-plant workers know of all ink changes."

"Excellent safety initiatives as well as plenty of corporate supports"

"Run now before you get sucked in. There is little organic growth, only by acquisition. Arkema was created from a spinoff from TOTAL. I believe it will be sold and dismantled within next few years."
What don't you like about working at Arkema?
"When Arkema bought plant there were grand plans to improve safety programs but then blind sided with plant closure. Purposefully mis-lead to believe we had a future."

"As with any good leadership, it is important to be honest with your plans."

"no at the moment because my first target at this time is to work in US"

"reluctant to change the top management is old (50 years of Abet) and doesn't want to modify thier approach to the business"

"application of lean concepts and increase the attitude to change following the market requirements that are moving faster then us"

"I helped buld this company from the ground up. I loved talking to the customers and being able to tell them when we'll have their load done and them having a great team on the floor that always performed excellence"

"Don't show up in your best interview suit, these guys are looking for people who are not afraid to get dirty."

"Watching the bank accounts dwindle as we knew the end was coming."

"I enjoyed the hands on part of the job and the people that I worked with on a daily basis. My employees worked hard in what was sometimes very difficult working conditions."

"Make sure that you get everything in writing as to days worked, hours and pay raises and when they will be administered."

"The company has 2 owners with equal power over the operations of the company and they often did not agree on what was the best direction of the company and often gave opposing orders to managers and employees."

"Become consistent in the direction in which you are moving the company. Employees can not be asked to do task 2 different ways and be held accountable for both."

"I find it difficult to suggest any negative about this company, but my only regret is that I did not have a permanent position."
