"Pitney Bowes acquired Group 1 while I was employed there and they made no attempts to keep current associates."
"Great company to work for but the employees that I worked with, not so much."
"Too many incompetent employees; too much office politics."
"The company has become too slow to adapt to the changes to their business base. The top and upper management are out of touch with their subordinates placing middle management in the business of politics rather than production. There are many brilliant people there, but sometimes, brilliance can be a deficit for the individual who speaks the unwanted truth. Additionally, there are too many examples of the Peter Principle demonstrated here. Keep your head down and out of view = success here."
"The company had its day. Unfortunately due to the CEO's that took the helm in the past 5 years just didn't improve the company. They pulled it down. The only thing that made working for them bearable was the co-worker relationships we had built. Other competitors pay their technicians better and help their technicians build their careers. I know because of conversations I had with them. The company was in way better shape back when it was still run by the family."
"Being a technician for Pitney Bowes (at least for this site) is for individuals that enjoy money and little free time."
"It's been an experience."

"I've worked within Pitney Bowes for about a year. I have many years within the industry and came in as an outsider to this organization. The challenge within Pitney Bowes as such a large company is understanding how to change directions. Maneuver the ship and change course. They we're a fat and happy organization for so long. And as they say, pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered. They are eagerly trying to manage change within the organization, but will take a long time to become agile."
