What do you like about working at Griffin Communications?
"Everything. The people are all very nice. The equipment was brand new. They just installed Newscutter 10 and all edit bays had two widescreen monitors."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Work there. But negotiate your salary. It is a family owned company and they can afford to pay their people."
What don't you like about working at Griffin Communications?
"It started to move towards less visual stories and shorter stories. All stories could only be 1:15 or less. As a photojournalist, it became frustrating at times."

"None. Management there was always very helpful and I am very friendly with all of them."

"I loved working for Nicholls State University. I was able to take photos at all campus events, and also see the public relations and marketing side of the University."

"Really and truly, I enjoyed every crazed moment of my job at Nicholls. Better opportunities came my way, and that is the only reason I left."

"Keep doing the great things you are doing, and good luck with college budget cuts."

"ORF was willing to explore new technologies to improve their product. They were often on the cutting edge in the digital world."

"The work environment is fabulous. The people are friendly and courteous. Decisions are slow and tedious, so patience is required."
What don't you like about working at ORF Austrian Radio?
"They were often penny wise and pound foolish. When discussing future advances in engineering they often took an approach that insured the subject would be re-visited in a couple of years."

"Management is beholden to Vienna Austria (home office). Bureau decisions are mired in the red tape of their organizational politics."
