"Company is going into a panic and insecurity of its continued existence. Many people leaving, in the thousands. New hires given 1 week schools on systems that historically were 5 or 6 weeks long then sent out to respond to customer calls alone. Overtime not being paid, person is told his evening work on a given day is "second shift" today but tomorrow you are back to normal shift unless a late call comes in. Purging experienced people so they can hire cheaper new guys."
"I was at Philips/HP/Agilent for 20 years and have seen many changes, most not so favorable."
"I've worked with Philips since I was in junior year of college. Over the past 10 years, I've worked hard to learn and participate in how a global company operates. With a global company, decisions tend to be made slowly. I would like to work for a company that employs a faster decision-making process. I believe that there is a way to manage change while not letting enough time lapse before the change becomes an issue."
"I have worked for Philips since January of 2013. Exciting products with friendly environment."
"Philips is trapped in a marketing mentality from 25 years ago and does little to provide for effective online marketing of its products. It talks a good game to prospective employees about all the advances it's making, but in reality its processes are broken and its employees are frustrated."
"My experience with Philips was okay."
"I have worked for Philips almost 7 years. Good company."
"I have worked for Philips Healthcare since 2004 till 2013."
"I have worked for this company for 22 years and want to leave as I do not see a clear strategy nor focus on organic growth and market share expansion. The focus is on EBITA but in order to grow EBITA you need to have a clear product and brand strategy and not just cost down activities. Without innovation there is no growth."
