"I have been with Peraton for about 3 years now and the people I have worked with have been very helpful and professional. The company itself has a flexible schedule and remote work policy which has also contributed to high employee retention."
"This company gives you the opportunity to grow in leadership roles. As a software developer, it is easier to move up and move into tasks that focus on design. The technology can be limited due to the nature of certain programs, but the company overall ranges on what they support. So, not everyone gets the same experience."
"I've worked for Peraton for over 4 years. Management is great. Employees are given the freedom to determine how they complete tasks and allowed to self-manage."
"Good experience. I was a bit disappointed in the contract ending early for myself and my colleagues that were hired along with me."
"Worked here for four months. I picked my life 8 and a half hours to move here. I understand the situation with covid, but you get rid of people and operations after four months. At least you could do was give me a reason why you are getting rid of people. Do not go and work for this company. It will seem fine at the start, but its all a mirage."
"Not doing what I was hired to do"
"Worked for the Peraton corporation from July to December 2019. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience working there, I felt as though I was contributing towards forwarding the mission of deep space communication and exploration. Fascinating on-hands job experience, the work environment was excellent. It was a bit casual, but work was still done and co-workers were very helpful. I would love to work there again."
"Old mindset and a government contractor"
"Harris IT Services / Peraton was a great employer. I had the joy of working with the company for almost 20 years. The company benefits, salary and management staff really made working for the company a joy. If it wasn't for a government contract change, I would still be working for this employer. The company provided an excellent personal growth capability. When I started with the company, I was a junior systems engineer. However, after several years, I was promoted to a senior systems engineering position which afforded me the opportunity to really grow in the systems engineering world."
"Strong company, good leadership"
