What do you like about working at Pendum?

"I like the challenge of figuring out what is wrong with the ATM and coming up with the answer. If I don;t have the answer I can call Tech Support and they usually have the answer 99.9% of the time."

"Make sure to ask all the questions that come to mind before you take the job. It's a great company to work for but has issues like any nationwide company."

What don't you like about working at Pendum?

"Not much training as I would like. I have requested to go to several classes but told to wait because others need to go first. The company should embrace online training to save on travel costs."

"Embrace online training courses to better train your technicians and that way they provide better service to our customers."

"I like working on machine and interacting with people and and strive for a satisfied customer."

"Inability to receive a good part when needed for the repair."

"Hire some experts in parts management to rectify problems in the parts chain. ."

"Somewhat under paid wages should be much better, esp for what we do!!"

"Pendum historically, and continues to have issues with ensuring management is making ethical decisions. Nepotism and favoritism plays a strong role in the new management of the company."

"The company doesn't yet see the potential they have. The future is very bright, as long as solid business decisions based on data continue to be made."

"Outstanding SVP of sales - we had a great synergy together and the job function was what I have been doing for 10yrs"

"Interviews for sales are obtained by recruiters. If you are a tech, stress that you are looking for long term employment with the company. Turnover with techs is horrendous and is main reason for bad reputation in market."

What don't you like about working at Pendum?

"Horrible infrastructure. No sales support to speak of. Senior management is aloof about industry trends and problems plaguing the company. Limited job security as the companies main goal is to be bought by a larger company."

"Implement six sigma concepts throughout company."

"It was completely different from other positions I held, and had a lot of challenges."

What don't you like about working at Pendum?

"Management had no concept of the amount of time required each day to just keep up with requirements. There was little attention paid to maintenance on vehicles. Employee turnover was too high. Much too much time was devoted to e-mails. The decision to close the branch must have been in the discussion phase whe I was hired, yet it was never mentioned. Expectations, after being hired, were for seven days a week devotion to job."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Develop a better way of getting the job done without putting in 14 hour days. Develop a good maintenance program for vehicles. Get away from being glued to PC's to keep up with e-mails. Be more forthcoming about expectations and responsibilites before a hiring offer is made."
