"A good place to work but turnover is high."
"Paylocity used to be the top 10 places to work in 2017, top 20 in 2018, and then didn’t even come close to making the list in 2019. The issue with Paylocity is that they listen and provide opportunities to brainstorm improvements, but they NEVER make changes or do anything in the best interest of their employees. Their sole focus to beat their competitors and take their clients. They put so much money, effort, and changes into the sales department and did NOTHING to prepare internal teams. So while the sales department is improving and celebrating in Hawaii, the rest of the company (particularly the implementation department) is getting double the work and working insane hours. I would work 12-16 hours in a row every day with no breaks or lunch (sometimes didn’t even go to the bathroom) and then go home late at night completely drained. My mental health was extremely destroyed, I lost 20 pounds in a few weeks, and they just simply didn’t care. 14 new hires started within a few weeks of each other and I was the last one to quit. I was there for a YEAR. Management was extremely upset when I left and wanted me to stay, but I couldn’t take it anymore. It has been 4 months and there have still been zero changes to help the employees. Absolutely RIDICULOUS."
"I worked for Paylocity for about one year. Overall it was a great experience as an Account Executive. The C-Level Management were extremely approachable and open to feedback, utilizing their employees as co-creators for their software platform. It is a great job for those who want to make money and are willing to hustle to get it."

"They company has a great product and your fellow collegues are great. The base salary is average for such sales 60k and you have the opportunity to make well over 6 figures. The company culture was great, but had recently declined due to senior leadersjhip changes. My manager was phenomonal, but that wasn't always the case nationally."
