"I worked with JCI under a contract with Patti Engineering for almost four years. I did not interact with Patti Engineering much. Most of their non-management employees who were not working under contract for a customer seemed to have come from other countries or were interns from a local college. That is not entirely uncommon in this business and is something I have lived with much of my career. Patti Engineering seemed to put a lot of emphasis on marketing the company to large corporations, creating partnerships with suppliers, and making the rounds with customers. Other than that and contracting people out to other companies, I do not really know what Patti Engineering did or how good they were to work for. The people I worked with there were nice but the company was not really in the business of Software Development so they were not a lot of help to me beyond having gotten their foot in the door at JCI years before I started there."
