"Safety is job one. H ave a good work ethic. Not afarid of working."

"Hot during summer months. Some people make my job more difficult."

"Compressed air drops closer to make change overs quicker. Train other people on change overs to make things go smoother."

"Company no longer embraces continuous improvement - long term value creation is not valued."

"CEO deciding to sell the company to a venture capitalist and the decision to discard Lean."

"Management team including directors and plant managers were great to work with."

"Everything at pactiv. I like the environment, work and people"

"Very good company to work for but its fast pace!"

"Nothing really I pretty much like everything about pactiv (work and people)"

"management is new so no suggestions as they need time"

"If you are black or white you will never get a job that will last more than a few months"

What don't you like about working at Pactiv?

"I don't like that I am one of the lowest paid yet have more responsabilty because I have more seniority than most of my peers. It's a buddy system and if you are not hespanic you are just slave labor with no chance of moving up the pay scale. You must be bilingual . I do speak Spanish but it is not Mexico Spanish it's what they teach at school. Doesn't count."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Take care of your people they will take care of you"

"I worked for Pactiv for only 3 months before my position was eliminated. I found the job challenging, the environment clean and comfortable, and company a pleasant place to work."

"Pactiv was a fine place to work, but had limited growth potential for me. I was wearing too many hats, so needed to make change."

"They don't care about their people at all.No improvement on the plant or working conditions. It's all about the bottom. They don't even keep a good parts room. No programs to train people at all. They just want everyone to live and die there."
