What do you like about working at FedEx?
"The fact that my pay was increasing at a steady rate to, essentially, get paid to work out. As time went on more was expected of me, meaning more got done, meaning I got stronger and happier about myself, my work, and my life."

"The interview is easy, having the drive and motivation to keep working is hard."
What don't you like about working at FedEx?
"If I worked at FedEx for the rest of my life then I would not program anything and my pay would not be high enough to support a family."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Look for diamonds in the rough. There are certain employees that would do well to move higher up the chain of command."

What do you like about working at UPS?
"I liked learning shipping and receiving, and uploading and offloading packages. I liked having the opportunity to grow and try something new."

"Have great team work skills. Always be on time at this or any job."
What don't you like about working at UPS?
"There were no vacation days until you completed a year."

"I think management was great with their employees. I would say for them to keep pushing the employees to do better and succeed."

"It keeps you in shape, and it is very physical. There are good benefits and fun people to work with."

"Listen when they tell you to show up in work clothing. Most importantly, wear sturdy protective footwear when you go for your tour of the hub."
What don't you like about working at UPS?
"Full-time management can be pretty oblivious. There is a high turnover in management. Supervisor positions are hard to get into. Air pollution was really bad."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to your part-time supervisors. Improve the air quality."

"The people I work with are a big influence on what I like about my job."

"Be truthful about yourself. Don't try and make something of yourself that is not true."

"I have to get up a 4:30 am to be at this job, that is awful early."

"Have more faith in your workers. If you treat them right they are more willing to give what you want."

"It's a good workout, reimbursed much of my college, and has stable hours, pay, and days."

"Go in early to the tour of the factory. It's one of the only ways they narrow down people."

"It's very hard work, fast pace, and repetitive. The drivers and loaders don't always get along."

"Pay close attention to the people that are to be managed. They know what they want but don't always know how to get it."

"Keep in mind the employees. The bottom lines is too greatly stressed."

"I like putting packages in the bags and sending them down the belt."

"DON'T WORK HERE!!! IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!"

"It is difficult work. Very demanding. Too little rewards. We felt like slaves and we don't seem to matter as long as the work gets done."

"I'd see to it there was a service manager there at all times."
