"The telecommunications industry is interesting. Learning how equipment worked together to provide a service has always interested me whether a conveyor belt, proccessing equipment, telephone or computer."

"Personal Knowledge of the position is one key to start as well as their personal assets to the position, and team. Would I hire him for myself Are they trainable, honest to themselves, acceptance of change and responsibility Your interviewing a person who will live in your house 5 days a week 8 hours a day. Will they bring light or darkness to your house"

"The policy and the actions taken are different. A ship corrects the helm very little to stay its course. Drifting about or evading continuously is not the measure of a strong person or company."

"Think before you leap. Is the action taken for the overall benefit or only benefits the few in a narrow window of time"

"I am Trained Facilitator and Developer/Leader of Conferences to support Product development, IT Systems implementation; R&D Product Development for Sales, and Design construction for Operations and Engineering ,."

What don't you like about working at PacBell?

"Given my performacne, the VPS asked me to travel 3-4 weeks eachmonth to various US state locaitons ot conduct meetings and When my husband was dying I need to be at home and they did not want me to Telecommute."

"I partner with the VPs and CEOs on a regular basis to manage organization-wide plans that impact multiple business units and given my background in International Sales"

"Too slow to move on new trends, technology, wins only though size. This wont's last long a la GM and company."

"Company needs to respect its employees. It places too much importance on hiring cheaper workers, than on retaining quality or experienced workers. Pay managers more than the employees they oversee. Bring back Compensation time."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to employee and manager suggestions for improvement. Realize that what looks good on paper for the bottom line, may not necessarily be the right thing to do. Metrics don't tell the whole story. Statistic can be manipulated. Give incentives for employees to do a good job."
