  "I liked that they were not very demanding and that most routes were designated. I liked to travel so for me it was a great job. I was allowed time home when I requested and that was convenient to me . They keep their trucks well and are good at replacing mattresses and seats to make it comfortable."

  "The freedom of the open road, seeing new things, not having a boss breathing down my neck... I could go on forever about what I love about driving. There's always something new to learn on the road, many of those things that can be used to improve your overall life and make you a better person outside of trucking as well. There's lots of time to think, educate yourself through audio books. Life can be an exciting adventure and trucking is just a foothold in that if you're looking for it. So many options... stay on as a company driver, or buy your own truck. There's different types of trucking. But, I digress. :) What I hate about trucking? Crazy drivers, tailgating, cutting me off, giving me the finger. The stereotypes about truckers. Being away from family and friends for weeks at a time. Sleeping in a real bed at home, though I've managed to make the one in the truck just as comfortable. I could go on about that too. But you take the good with the bad. I've become a better, more patient person overall in the past 6 years of trucking."
