in Chester Twp, PA

"AdminServer was a small company that valued its employees. It was sold to Oracle, at which point it became a small part of a large company."

What do you like about working at Oracle?

"AdminServer was a small company, and due to that everybody became close friends. The atmosphere was great, and morale was always high. Also, since it was a small company, it was easier for management to take notice of outstanding work from its employees, and rewards were always in abundance. Everyone worked hard, the company succeeded, and so everyone benefited from it."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Focus on attaining a fitting salary for your position. Don't rely on bonuses, as your successful efforts are unfortunately lumped in with everyone else's work."

What don't you like about working at Oracle?

"As the company was sold to Oracle, morale became very low. Despite efforts to perform better than expected, and despite the success of the company, no rewards are now given to employees. Bonuses are structured and based on salary and position, and no longer personal performance."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There are definitely some outstanding employees at the company, yet many have not gotten a raise or a bonus in years. Due to this, people are leaving the company. And, sadly, it is the great workers that are leaving since they feel neglected. There needs to be more attention to those that perform better than necessary."
