"I worked for Opus as a remote contractor on a very large and challenging forensic assignment for nearly a year. We had to assess over 35,000 loans originated by Countrywide. The structure of the audit team was constantly in flux, with roles changing almost monthly. I advanced from an underwriter, to a QCer to a final touch reviewer focusing on misrep. Communication was via e-mail, Skype or Webex for large groups. It was difficult and often frustrating, but I respected the Team Lead, Job Managers and Expert Witness. My supervisor changed as the roles changed, so it was never the same person for any length of time."
"I've worked for Opus 6 years and I am fed up. Poor communication with staff by middle and senior management, constant furloughs, during a regional disaster where to electricity was unavailable for 4 days, managers were paid but the hourly wage earners were not, yet the company made a $250,000 donation to a local relief fund. Base rate salary increases when given (twice in my tenure) were a pittance. Benefits were decent."
"Excellent company. flexible work schedule, excellent support. great service, overtime availability great company to work for"
