"Nice work location and good work environment. They allow flexible work hours."

"Be up front about being flexible on relocation. If you want to move up here you are going to have to move around."
What don't you like about working at Schwan's?
"Low pay and a lot of no bonus positions. They have made it harder to apply for internal jobs."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Adjust pay to same size companies. make internal jobs easier to find and apply for."
What do you like about working at Intuit?
"I liked working collaborative with co-workers and peers on other teams and in other functions."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Each corporate division has its own culture. You need to be careful to find out if you mesh with that culture. Your immediate manager will determine if Intuit is a Great Place to Work or Living Hell. Also, pay attention whether or not the product is new. Older product lines could be underfunded and you may wind up working long hours because the product is understaffed. Generally it is great to be a developer at Intuit - you will get white space time and great managerial support. Any other group and you should be ready to change on a dime and drop all pretense of being an intelligent creative human being - you will be a cog in a machine and don't expect any more."

"The Managers are so numbers driven in this division they can't make good long term decisions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Look at the big picture. Communicate goals and priorities clearly. Reduce the number of managers. Get rid of bonus pay. Get rid of annual reviews. Create more self-managed teams."
