"01/29/20 Dear Sir/Madam, Understanding from internet web search that you are looking for a Senior Data Scientist, I present myself as a candidate for the position. I graduated from I.I.T, Kharagpur and I have a Ph.D. in Engineering and a Masters in Statistics. During my academic and professional career, I have gone through various research and development projects. As a results, my experience and expertise are diversified and very inquisitive in nature. I have worked with DOE, NIOSH, and DOD sponsored programs and very recently I developed the Power Point version for statistical part of the book “Predictive Economic Analysis”. I also assisted several graduate students and faculties for their research work. I have been working with Data analysis, Statistical Modeling, Computer Programming for many years. These analyses involved developing both inferential and predictive models. Apart from Statistical Analysis of data, I was also involved in computer programming, Database design and development, interactive web programming, Operational Research, Economic Analysis of Engineering projects and others. I have extensive knowledge in Design of experiments and Analysis of variances. Design of experiments include fixed, random, and mixed models, factorial design, repeated measures anova etc. and analyses of data using SAS and R. To perform the Statistical Analyses of the data, I have been using both SAS and R and recently Python. I have been working with programming languages such as C/C++, Java/Java Swing/Java FX, Visual Basic , Visual C++ for many years. Microsoft’s Access, SQL server are Oracle were the tool that I have used to developed the database. To develop interactive web pages, I have used ASP and ASP.net. While working on Bioinformatics’ Bioconductor package for Microarray Data Analysis my interest grew on Classification techniques and Machine Learning.
