What do you like about working at One Communications?

"Great people, lots of information. I was responsible for self starting and management was helpful, when asked to step up."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Patience, it is not Ameritech and small companies have to increase the consumer awareness and positives of a small phone company over a Bell company."

What don't you like about working at One Communications?

"Could not service entire territory because of pop limitations, sometimes areas we didn't know until the day of installation,"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep working on improving technology and improving the install side."

What do you like about working at One Communications?

"Don't work there anymore. Was fired, as was most of staff when new management took over. I was one of the last ones to go. There is nothing I like about it now. When first went there, great boss and great management and very supportive. After take over (we were told at first that we were the ones that took over a company, instead, we were taken over) upper management all fired and the rest of us had to beg for our jobs. The new manager was the most ruthless, unethical boss I ever worked for in 25 years of sales."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be very, very afraid."

What don't you like about working at One Communications?

"Don't work there anymore. New management not focused on customer or on its employees. Just out for the dollar. Not a great valued product. Can't seem to get their act together."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get a reality check. Treat employees like human beings instead of machines that you need to produce and then dispose of them like garbage. Focus on the customer. Not at all customer oriented. Quit changing the rules as you go along."

"Short on follow-thru. Concept of solution-selling is only a concept, rarely practiced, but always discussed."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Solution selling is long-cycle. 30-60-90 has no place in the solution sale, only in commodities."

"People that were within my group."
