What do you like about working at Alkire Orthodontics?
"I love getting to know the patients and their families. It's a great feeling to see them come in very self conscious about their smile, then by the time they are finished with treatment they can do nothing but smile.The work atmoshphere and my boss are very relaxed and he is very easy to approach."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Make sure that you are outgoing and can get along with all types of people."
What don't you like about working at Alkire Orthodontics?
"I currently work about 36 hours per week and would like to get closer to 40 hours per week."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I think a suggestion box for employees would be great. It would be nice to be able to make suggestions wihtout feeling like we are being put on the spot."

"I love our patients, getting to know them and seeing the difference we can make as their treatment progresses."

"Be able to get along with co-workers and patients/parents. Have a sense of family and community since we are working with families throughout the day."

"It would be nice if we could get more hours to get closer to 40 hours per week."

"I would hold more staff meetings to get more staff input. I would also have a suggestion box for employees that want to give suggestions anonymously."

"Very diverse company. You have the ability to move departments to find something that fits you."

"It is a nice place to work, many changes coming up."

"They don't have a way for many lower positions to advance like many of the other advanced positions."

"Consider all the people in the organization, not just the management."

"It's extremely boring. It's hard to deal with two bosses who don't get along. I don't like having a desk job."

"I would make sure to show my appreciation to everyone. I also think it's important that people are able to work towards the flexibility and opportunities they would like to have."

"My co-workers and of course my boss, he was such a great boss."

"Unless you are the type of person that is willing to settle for anything then this is the place for you."

"The lack of advancement within the company, there was no room for advancement."

"I like it when you work for a company that is fair to everyone."

"Pockets of progressive and interesting people who sometimes manage to get their ideas past the firing squad of habit and tradition."

"Make your case, but don't stop looking for your next stepping stone, preferably somewhere else."

"Level of authority completely unsuited for level of responsibility. Even if you do your core responsibilities well, you will be called on the carpet for any infraction."

"I wouldn't want to run this show, so I have little to suggest."
