"I started out working for Ocean City Home Bank in November 2009. It was a small hometown bank and coworkers felt like family. Well, known and reputable banking and lending institutions who thrived in South Jersey with our primary market being the shore towns. I started off as a processor and eventually worked my way up to underwriter then AVP for our residential lending department. In December 2016 we were acquired by OceanFirst Bank based out of atoms River, NJ where I got the news that I had been demoted back down to processing most likely due to budgeting constraints. Since then the bank has been acquiring other banks on a yearly basis and I haven’t been able to get back to wear I was due to hiring freezes. I feel as though my career is at a stand still."
