"Don't get caught up in training start your sales cycle on day one if you can. Push to get your territory settled before you start working for the company or you will loose valuable time once you start."

"too much old overlapping equipment. more field support for new hires, a stronger and more aggressive marketing campaign. lacks brand awareness. learn to sell solutions not equipment as a whole."

"revamp your marketing strategy. drop older out dated overlapping technology that takes away from sales of new and improved equipment. Decrease product line. (continuous feed)"

"Think of what employees can bring to the table if you need to layoff people and try to accomodate them versus having them fend for themselves."

"There were some divisions created by management that didn't go over well with the entire staff but I believe it will get better."

"Just listen to those on the street and their research personnel."

"Everything else. The processes change on a weekly basis from corporate. We are currently slashing our salesforce and there are rumors of being bought."

"Stop spreading rumors and creating dissention between sales teams."

"The Maumee was very poorly managed. The manager talked about all of the employees to everyone and his management style was non-existent. He only discouraged people and tore people down."

"New management for the Maumee, Ohio office"

"next time there is a layoff trim from the bottom not the top"

"No, be yourself, this job is best suited for college graduates who want to go into sales who haven't yet been molded. This is a perfect opportunity to get experience to find a job that fits your needs."

"I don't like the change in management and structure changes that have happened over the last few months, makes the company feel unstable"

"They need to help their reps more, and help close business, instead of just asking for it to be handed to them"

"originally, nothing, later, money was too tight from over buying and there were too many cut backs...especially for custmers"

"It was a great company but, because of the economy its been downsizing still"

"Well if they stay open, but I think someone else is buying the Company. My advice is be honest, smile and demonstrate what an asset you'll be to the company if they hire you."

What don't you like about working at Océ?

"I can't say anything bad, just that I was let go is the only bad thing. But someone had to go. Many others follow."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They should have made pay cuts to those making over 85,000, not to the ones making less than 40,000. They spend too much money in unnecessary renovations, over and over again to the same sections. It was a waste of money. Too many sales reps wasting money, they should have kept a better track record on their spendings."
