School Safety Agent

What do you like about working at NYC Police Department?

"The position required successful completion of the School Safety Police Academy, preparing for the position is what I liked best because it allowed me to create professional relationships, learn a lot about my limits (which I learned that my limits are capable of being pushed in my pursuit of excellence) the preparation was the job. Once I graduated from the Academy the actual job was a reveiw!"

What don't you like about working at NYC Police Department?

"The politics between School Safety Agents and Police Officers. The School Safety union was (and is currently) fighting to 'roll over' School Safety Agents to NYPD/Police Officers in order to give School Safety Agents the benefit package alloted to NYPD Officers. I was definately in favor of the 'roll over'."
