I've worked for the Center for Research Computing at the University of Notre Dame for just over a year. At first it seems like a great place to work, but between manager promotion, micromanaging, lack of respect by coworkers and clients, and poor pay, it loses its appeal. They are willing to try new technologies though, that's a plus.
I have been employed at Notre dame de namur university as a public safety officer since January, 2020. I have found that the public safety role is essential and is required to be professional at all times. In addition, it has taught me to always remain patient, and to respect at all times. The university employs 13 public safety officers, 7 being part time and 6 part time.
I worked for the EE department in the University of Notre Dame from August 2018 to December 2019. I assisted a number of professors in their course work and I must say the professors are nice and afforded me the opportunity to offer insightful suggestion on how to improve the course. In one instance I was allowed to come up with quizzes to assess students understanding of the material presented in class.
