"Strong investment in employee culture and making changes to equip the company for future success."
"I've worked for Nielsen for 6 years, its a huge global company that cares about its employee and culture. It offers good benefits and great working flexibility. I enjoy working with the people there. It locates in Oldsmar FL"
"I have been at Nielsen for the past two years. During my time I have seen growth in my position and responsibilities, but at this point, my role has stagnated. I would like to see more movement as well, where those who go above and beyond the aspects of their roles are rewarded. It seems that politics play a heavy role in the workings of this company. I had been told by previous colleagues that people do not get promoted until at least two years. Fortunately, I was forthright and early enough to receive it earlier. Although the process of getting promoted took over nine months and I had been misled by management a number of times. Overall, Nielsen provides a great working environment and incredible work-life balance, but people there lack intrinsic motivation to succeed and the company moves at a slow pace. I think that as an initial launching point it is great to have a company like Nielsen on your resume as it is a company most people will recognize, but don't see much value staying longer than two years."
"It's a great company to work if you want a flexible environment. Unlimited PTO, decent pay, managers aren't micromanaging etc"
"The company is the top in marketing analytics. I enjoyed working with brilliant co-workers and having a good work-life balance."
"Not a good place to work. Rip their employees off in bonus and wages. Department of Labor needs to take a look at what they are doing."
"Claritas used to be a good company to work for, but ever since Nielsen took over and hired Tata Consulting to handle the IT, the company has gone down hill."
"Nice company to work, need more management and the leads have to know more about technical requirements to know the specific dates to deliver, and the technical leads need to know how to resolve functional problems and more management."
"As a first corporate job out of college, it can be a great experience. As an experienced technician, the base pay is very low and the bar for incentive bonuses is set very high (it is not just you but your whole market determines if you see the $)."
