"Ask questions about the Culture of the Company. And life work balance, Hours required and make sure your bosses are open to working with you as a team member and not simply an employee."

What don't you like about working at Nickelodeon?

"The Management spends enormous amounts of time in meetings that they spend 50% of the time BSing and as an executive assistant - they did not pay attention to their schedule at all - there was no team between my role and my Managers' roles."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"More team work. Less dumping and heirarchy, no blackberry afterhours unless travelling, deadlines always ridiculously planned and last minute. Everyone seemed to buy into that culture."

"Cool offices on Olive Ave. little shop full of trinkets I designed for them. Little kids came through with their teachers. Artists could cartoon on the walls. Indoor basketball court."

"They need you and you should fight to keep your artistic rights. Don't sign anything without reading and understanding it."

"The agreement they requires that you give them every right to everything you create on or off the clock. They pay slow and poorly."
