"I worked at Barrick from Oct 2018. I started as the Mine Superintendent and quickly moved into the Mine Manager's role. Shortly after, Barrick and Newmont formed a JV of their Nevada gold mining properties. At this time I was asked to be part of a team to quickly combine the surface mining groups in order to achieve maximum synergy. We were successful in achieving our goals. As with any JV, change was inevitable. I went through (2) GM's and numerous leadership changes and adjustments. Though frustrating, this became one of the most rewarding opportunities of my career and I was glad to be part of it."
