"Pros: opportunity to learn the latest and greatest technologies/process/tools including Cloud, SOA, Analytics and JAVA.Cons: lack of leadership strategy in modern IT world, average remuneration for beginners. Senior mgmt doesn't know how to leverage on the in-house talent.Not bad for newcomers as they can learn valuable technical skills.Other things about the company...Work load could be more as a normal IT workplace and sometimes less.Some in management are favorable towards star performer employees but others are more interested in job stability rather than mentor newcomer employees build a 'career'.But the top level managers have a good vision and knowledge and can help you if they have time (depends on which division you are working in.).The hardest part of the job is to keep oneself up to date with the ever changing technology demands.
