"I would not like to leave a written review"
"I've worked in Netsuite and it's a fun place and has a lot to offer."
"Not comfortable with writing a review at this time"
"I have worked with NetSuite for over five years. NS runs some of the critical initiatives in a start-up mode, and I am lucky to lead a couple of these initiatives on the product side from the start. Innovation is encouraged; good work is recognized."
"I've worked for the company for 3 years, and it looks to promote internally, has great benefits, and lets you do your job without a lot of management supervision or interruption. Work from home and consult on phone calls with customers. Meet 75% billing utilization and all is well."
"I've worked for the company for almost 2 years. I am consistently given significantly more work than I can reasonably handle, as are most employees. The company is severely lacking with communication. The benefits and bonus plan are great, but it's not enough to make me want to continue my career here."
"NetSuite aquired the company I had worked at for 6 years. Unfortunately they wanted to keep the original company mostly intact which meant that there was no opportunity for advancement and they also never hired people to do the same work I was doing, even while increasing the number of people selling the product I was doing the implementation work."
"I had to quite to get away from my manager because HR wouldn't help me."
What do you like about working at NetSuite?
"They have some great programs for employees, but the muddy it all down with corporate regulations. They advertise they have pet insurance, but it's really only a 5% discount from one, rather expensive, pet insurance provider. Not really a benefit."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't work for the retail vertical. Just stay far, far away from it. The Colorado and Boston offices seem like they have some good things going on."
What don't you like about working at NetSuite?
"Management is pretty bad. Some offices and departments have good managers, but NetSuite seems afraid to fire anyone, which means they keep bad managers who don't stand up for their employees. HR won't help. They have policies in place to prevent things like nepotism, but if you inform HR that there is a family member reporting to another of their family, HR won't lift a finger."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management needs to offer better training, especially when acquiring another company. They assume (quite falsely) that managers from an acquired company have any clue on how to manage, and chances are good that they don't. The corporate component just makes them worse managers."
