"Net-Tek Computer services is my own business endeavor at a time when I couldn't find meaningful and gainful employment. I enjoyed working for my clients, but often found myself drawn into projects that were time consuming and lucrative, but not always challenging. Sometimes studying and learning a new technology, I wouldn't be able to implement it and develop that skill in a meaningful project. It's challenging to try to stay current with new technologies while being inundated with the minutia of running a business. Vacations are difficult, too, because you don't want to refer your clients to another company, so you have to keep your mobile phone and notebook computer available to support clients remotely. For all the difficulties and inconveniences being a small business owner presents, it does give one a little more flexibility in your daily schedule."
