"You need to be a brown-noser to move up."
"I worked for Neato Robotics for a significant amount of time, and still think the product is incredibly cool. When it first came out it was way ahead of the competition. But over the years, the competition has caught up and because of money problems and leadership problems, the company has not done any new invention. All successive products have been minor variations on the original product. The company has focused almost exclusively on tactical problems since the inception of the first product. As of today, the current CEO continues to diminish the need for strategic development, preferring to continue the pattern of little to no resources dedicated to it. The company has no vision anymore."
