"It is a good position if you are wiling to compromise your sanity."
"Poor management deploying of field techs and time management for the lunch schedules. 30 minute lunch. Overnight shifts are mandatory. Overworked."
"I've worked for NCR 7 months now and I can truly say they underpay you and do not have the proper resources to train you."
"The company does a good job attaining its employees. but does a poor job maintaining them."
"Worked with NCR for about 7 years. Started with Teradata, til the separation. Rehired thru NCR on my second employment. Found NCR to be somewhat antiquated in industry leadership and innovative ideas. Culturally, still a bit 'good-ol-boyish' .. evolving but with hesitation. Will take more early retirement incentives, attitude changes, internally, to make it happen. Bill Nuti desires it, I believe, at the behest of the g-o-b network! Change is inevitable. Better salaries needed, also."
"I work in a division that develops for a very old legacy product (dating back to the early 1990s). The product is in very poor technical shape and not improving. The organization is managed with a thin veneer of process, but it is not what is really needed. The nature of the software development actually done is still ad hoc hack-and-patch. I really do not enjoy it. The challenges are not interesting, they are mainly frustrating: dealing with really bad collectively coded software."
"I've worked for NCR for 2 years and so far, my experience has been okay."
