"I started at Midwest POS Solutions which was recently purchased by NCR Corp. and renamed NCR Local IN/KY. There is a lot more structure and way more technical training, which is good because there really wasn’t any training prior to the acquisition. At least for Help Desk techs. NCR gives a lot more vacation time too which is great."

"NCR is a clean quiet place to work. If you are looking for a stable company that you can work for, then NCR is the place for you.The work environment is stale and does not breed creativity."
"Worked with NCR for about 7 years. Started with Teradata, til the separation. Rehired thru NCR on my second employment. Found NCR to be somewhat antiquated in industry leadership and innovative ideas. Culturally, still a bit 'good-ol-boyish' .. evolving but with hesitation. Will take more early retirement incentives, attitude changes, internally, to make it happen. Bill Nuti desires it, I believe, at the behest of the g-o-b network! Change is inevitable. Better salaries needed, also."
"Great starting company right out of college. Job security. Decent Benefits. Poor work/lifestyle awareness. No remote working ability."
"I've worked at Intuit/Digital Insight/NCR for more than five years. In that time, I've seen some ups and downs.. The people, the folks on the floor getting work done are generally very bright, go getter types who want to do the right thing. My observation is that the right thing is never the thing that meets management's expectation of faster, cheaper, higher quality. There is a general lack of upfront investment and nearly always a surprise at the end when something breaks."
"Poor management deploying of field techs and time management for the lunch schedules. 30 minute lunch. Overnight shifts are mandatory. Overworked."
"Work here for about 10 months. I was rehired at the to fill a position that I was outsourced from. The company did not have a plan for my position. I was left to work on my own and find my own solutions to keep my location functional."
