"I have worked for NBTY inc. (Rexall sundown) for 21 yrs started out as a QA and worked my way up to supervisor been promoted 4 times in the 21 yrs I was there got along with everyone, I am a very understanding person but at the same time very throe with my work and my employees, after 21 yrs I have nothing bad to say I just want to advance my carrier and work in a new environment, I felt I could not go any higher than I was because at that point to be a manager it's not what you know but who you know I had managers come to me and ask me how to do something."

"I've worked for NBTY for 2 years. Though it's a great place to work I find they want you to do more with less. The emphasis seems to be more about project "save" rather than supplying the necessary tool to better assist the users and customers."

They had x-mas party for the whole company. They set goals to meet. But then they came out and said they are closing the doors."

"The company is going through a lot of change and adding upper management. Haven't seen a lot of results from all the management changes yet. Could be too soon to tell the benefits of all the new management."

"There is no accountability for a poorly done job and people do not take pride in their jobs."

"I would make people think about their projects in the form of an ROI."

"They allow for flexible works schedules and there is a great CEO"

"They enjoy bringing people in as temps then bringing them on full time so don't be afraid to commit to a temp position."

"There are a number of people in my department who are underqualified for their positions."

"I would implement a better HR structure, ensuring all HR members understand HR philosophy"
