"It's a good company to work for, but it does have some unique challenges until you understand the culture."
What don't you like about working at Pardee Homes?
"Integration of systems and adoption of processes that other builders have perfected years ago are still not being done at Pardee. This tends to make the G&A expenses higher than they really should be."

"Sometimes it seems that Sr Management wants to build 'monuments' to themselves instead of doing what we do best (production homes)."

"No vision in ISP, no direction in ISP, No support, Basically, No idea about ISP"

"Talk to everyone, do some research, reconize who is the talent and get rid of the ones you make excusses for their failures"

"The fast pace work inviroment and challenges of the projects. I like the teams as well."

"If you want a 9-5 with no changes this would work for you."

"Red tape to get changes and new ideals implemented. Things that worked 10 years ago may be outdated due to changes in information, internet and society."

"Better use of time management skills. Redundent operations need to be changed to better perform."

"Kinko's changed my life and gave me opportunities that I had never dreamed possible. I will remain grateful for my years with this company."

"When I initially applied to Kinko's, it was a small franchise with only 5 locations. The environment was extremely laid back. I would have recommended to just be themselves, honest and open."
What don't you like about working at FedEx?
"The only thing that I did not like was the day that Paul Orfala (the founder and CEO) sold the company to an investment firm."

"I would have asked Paul not to sell and I do not believe that what he envisioned is what came to be."

"The freedom to go after new opportunites and travel when I needed to. Aslo they put family first."

"Come in prepared you will have to do three different interviews."

"They do watch closely what sales reps make and plan commisions struture and budgets according to what they think you should make."

"Great all around group of people and products. The support was terrific both in office and sales."

"The new Robison-Anton is owned by American & Effird. The company is very large yet not always in tune with what is going on in the market they serve."

"Company was sold to very large competitor and has been down graded in both quality and service."

"Please listen to your sales people and then you will know what your customers want and need."

"We had very solid product line with good support from local sales and service."

"Just be honest and sincere, it is a privately own company that would value those traits in an interview."
What don't you like about working at Cummins-Allison?
"I actually had to leave due to the travel my position required. The overnight out of town travel demands were increasing and due to family considerations this was not acceptable to me."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be a little more open to moving sales people into other areas of the company. Due to my experience for example I felt I would have been a good fit in the marketing department."

What do you like about working at Sterigenics?
"My collegues locally in Denmark was very good, especially quality and lab people. There was some decent technologi, but nothing that made you go WAUW."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do not go to an interview at all. They will trick and cheat."
What don't you like about working at Sterigenics?
"There is absolutely no chance for education, no chance to do you job independantly (and I was I sales). No future in the company unless you worked at the headoffice. The just demanded and demanded and gave nothing in return. On top of that they still owe me bonus but won't pay it."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Communication, Communication, Communication. Learn to communicate with your workes, tell them how it is going, and first of all listen to what they have to say. Furhtermore do not fire people without giving the right reason"

"Make sure you are prepared to put a full 8 hours of work in every day- very structured."

"Make the position for lucrative for newer reps and have a business model to follow."

"Run!!! Run fast, run far!!!! Don't do it. With regard to sr mgmt - no on dares to tell the emperor she/he has no clothes! Objections result in unemployment"
What don't you like about working at Xerox?
"The word empowerment must have been assigned a new meaning in the Webster dictionary. Xerox keeps talking about empowerment, but I have to have 5 levels of approval to book an airline ticket - I'm not even empowered to determine what clients I need to see and when - it takes a month to plan on seeing a client."

"Stop ignoring our current business - clients who have done business with Xerox for years are fed up with the support and service"
