"Technology was great at one time, but has been lapped by the security industry. Freedom to do your job and learn what you needed to be successfull, was a great opportunity in the beginning."

"Accept a position at your own professional risk."

"If you were there before the new CEO took over you're considered a local yocal (not worthy of respect). But, if you're a bud of the CEO you're good to go."

"Partner with Novell & Microsoft at all costs. But since they're really a nobody in the industry this will be almost impossible."

"Not much direction. The company is headed in multiple directions."

"Offices are closed for 2 weeks over Christmas & New Years. This is paid time off in addition to regular vacation time and standard holidays"

"Working for Emmis is very much like being accepted by a very elite sorority or fraternity. If they accept you it can be a great place to work. If they don't accept you every day is a huge challenge."
What don't you like about working at Emmis Communications?
"Not a good work environment. Don't care for the product. Very little room for innovation and creativity in this sales process."

"Support creativity and innovation. Communicate to editorial that the product they produce has a direct effect on the sales department's ability to grow ad revenue."

"Don't go there if you're in national meetings sales."
What don't you like about working at National CineMedia?
"Top management hasn't a clue about what they're doing in the meeting and events arena. No one in top management has ever worked in the meetings and events industry nor have they worked in satellite broadcast. They're flying by the seat of their pants. Throwing ideas up on the wall to see if it sticks. NCM doesn't offer a total event solution to any clients, only the delivery end. So basically as a salesperson I had to say Hey, we have these incredible venues and satellite delivery when and if you have a production that you want to deliver. The client must come up with their own program production which means they have to work with more than one vendor. It's the tail wagging the dog. Price is high and unaffordable only if the client has very large audiences. They're in trouble with only a few clients keeping them afloat."

"Top management (CEO)needs to get people in place with experience in satellite broadcast of live events and meetings."

"Great place to work although not perfect"
What don't you like about working at Rust-Oleum?
"Very little if anything. The only challenge was moving up in responsibility since people very rarely left the company while it was family held."

"To listen more to quality partners. They will work with you to grow the business profitably"

"The integrated marketing aspect of developing, activating and executing national programs."

"Understand sports marketing and brand management versus other types of marketing."
What don't you like about working at Major League Baseball?
"At the time there was no such thing as being in a business development position without bonus/commission structure. It is probably different now."

"Create more marketing jobs at the League level."
