What do you like about working at Microsemi Corporation?

"It was exciting place to work when the CEO was Kirk Waldron. He grew the company and was generous with salary and incentives. He grew the company and then the three founders came back and laid everyone off, including Kirk."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Avoid this company. It has a bad reputation in the industry. The CEO has a loose screw and will go into tyrants, swearing at the employees, customers or whoever. He is a bully. I witnessed him do this to an outside contractor and the contractor told him off and he backed off like a high school bully."

What don't you like about working at Microsemi Corporation?

"The company is run by three founders that scrap off all the money for themselves. None of them understands sales including the V.P. of Sales who is one of the founders. They grow the company to a certain level and then it all folds back on itself. That is their history."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest the board fire the three founders and get some professional help. Unfortunately, the board is the three founders. No one else counts."
