"It provides me the opportunity to improve my knowledge with software, networks and other items related ot Information Systems. My position mainly revolves around troubleshooting, which I love. It's the satisfaction of being presented a problem and coming up with the solution."

"My philosophy of management differs from the one at the company. Especially since the management classes give me a broader view of management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest that they update their current philosophy. Ask employees to provide suggestions and have the employees be more involved with company planning. Find ways to motivate employees instead of presenting a threatening environment"

"Good benefits, nice location, good balance of work - personal life"

"suck up big time."

"Very limited career advancement. Too much politics from upwards of dept. manager level."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop cronyism, Give preference to people in-house when filling vacant manement positions so as to provide employees with a career path. Promote people based on merit. Look at employees as people and not as commodities (quote from CEO)."

"Micros was a great first job and the travel was good at first.I learned a lot of additional job duties such as networking and security."

"It was impossible to balance my personal life traveling 95% of the time."

"Some managers clearly show favoritism and it's upsetting to other employees."

"I strongly believe in giving a clear direction, starting from looking at every step and studding each step along the way before making any decision, when giving a task we must know the risk management for the task, and how to recover to maintain steady process in order to have a successful time management for more accomplishment"
