"They don't tell you that they'll expect you to be working late regularly and uncompensated for it, or that you'll be expected to work from 8 am to 1 am and weekends (again, uncompensated) at the drop of a hat just because someone promised a client a particular feature by day X and nobody assigned that feature request to a developer (i.e., you) until two days before it was promised for delivery.Business hours are 8 am to 5 pm with a one-hour lunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Yeah, right."

"Stop cronyism, Give preference to people in-house when filling vacant manement positions so as to provide employees with a career path. Promote people based on merit. Look at employees as people and not as commodities (quote from CEO)."
