"Low salary, cheap company, unfair, cunning, and manipulative management style."
"I've been with Microchip since 2018. I have learned lots of competencies as a Failure Analysis Engineer. The number of training available is not much since you need to learn from the available specifications. No formal training is available for new hires. A Buddy system is implemented to be able to learn, then, you are good to go. The salary is so-so. Provincial rate is applied. Some of the managers tend to micromanage which could be considered as a hindrance in the long run since employees cannot unleash the most of their potentials."
"Colorado Springs employees have had to endure forced time off, without pay layoffs and no bonuses when the other 2 manufacturing facilities in the US haven't had to deal with any of that. They also keep receiving bonuses while we keep getting laid off. Costs are the #1 issue. Low wages to start i.e. below Colorado minimum hourly wage. No raises since I started 3 years ago. Twelve hours shifts, 90% at the time you are on your fee, fast paced and stressful at times."
"Microchip is a great place to work."
"The company is basically a socialist company. There's no opportunity to set yourself apart because they use a "spread the butter" approach to compensation, which is also very, very minimal (everyone gets somewhere between 1% and 2.5% raises), and it isn't even guaranteed every year. They try to wash out the compensation through various "Evergreen" programs which basically results in allowing an extra trip to the grocery store every few months. Job growth is also seemingly impossible and they don't value the high contributors, allowing them to leave to competitors without any fight."
"Don't wan't to share a review!"

"I am working for Microchip since 2017. The company is a good one, offering good salaries and benefits. The working environment is good, great team workers."
"I have worked for Microchip since July 2018. It is a good company. The team was an international team. The company has 18,000 employees all around the world."
"The employees at Microsemi Lawrence (a Microchip Company) are some of the hardest working staff I have worked with."
