That being said, the marketing and IT departments I worked with require a lot of growth to become as good as the product they sell. Leadership is lacking and strategy and marketing analytics have not been given enough time and importance. Without a strong leadership, the data infrastructure has been built out haphazardly, making it near impossible to review clean data."
