What do you like about working at Meridia Capital?

"My responsibilities were enormous, and I thrived on that. I started the servicing arm of the company and was responsible hiring staff, creating Policies & Procedures for every aspect of servicing from QC, Audits, Fraud, Loan Boarding, Cashiering, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure & REO."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"They went out of business, unfortunately. They owed over $100M in repurchase obligations for bad loans they originated that defaulted. Their credit lines were shut down and they were unable to continue in business."

What don't you like about working at Meridia Capital?

"I didn't care for the abrasive nature of one of the members of management. His temper was legendary, but his knowledge was insufficient to accomplish the goals he had. He hired competent people, but failed to let them do their jobs as they could. He ignored the facts about the loans they were originating, because they could still be sold at the time."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Hire the right people, outline the goals & objectives, then rely on their expertise & experience to accomplish those goals."
