"The new ownership came in and were convinced they knew best about how to do everything. The company is still good for those in more creative areas, however it is no longer a great place for those in the "support" functions."
"When I first got to Synapse, it was a dream come true. The product wasn't exciting, but the culture was top-notch; something I thought I would never leave. But some change in management and the merger with Meredith caused a lot of changes that all caused the company to go in a direction none of us wanted to see."
"Wonderful environment with great people. The product is less than ideal to be selling, but the environment led me to learn so much about Front End development. I've grown dramatically over the last two years and will miss my time at Synapse. However, the company has moved in a different direction both culturally and corporately and it is not something I feel aligns with my values. This was a great company to start at and something that is unique in personality, but it has run its course and the new leadership has really changed the direction on the company as a whole."
"It was great before Meredith took over."
"I've worked for Meredith for a year and have enjoyed my time. Employees are educated, knowledgeable and extremely nice to work with. The company is ultra conservative, which, at times, is a road block to success. The company also has too many silos, which also impedes business progress. Anyone looking for a solid company to come in on a daily basis to do your job without upsetting the environment and go home at a reasonable hour, this is the place to be."
