Submit a Review"Can set own hours and days. Pay isn't that great and some stores take longer than others and you are only allotted a certain amount of time to get them done. Stores that need constant straightening along with your scheduled work can put you behind."

"I am reluctant to tax the reader with a tediously prolix description of what merchandising and reset-work entails. If you are applying for a merchandising job you probably know about reading a planogram, moving shelves and product, etc. Also a modicom of forethought whispers in your ear that this job includes a mixture of short and long distances."

"I like the components of my job and the people I work with at my store."

"Don't. It will be the worst experience of your life to work for this company."
What don't you like about working at Anderson Merchandisers?
"This is the worst company I have ever worked for in 30 years. Inept, bordering on psychotic management. Full timers given all the work of management, then their hours cut. Told repeatedly to lie on information given to company to make it look like all work was done in the ridiculously few hours given each week. to complete work. Complete disregard for the client. The list is massive. If you see an opening for this company, run, don't walk. You will be very sorry you took the job. Unless you like being told to wake up at 5 a.m, every day to check if you still have a job, or having weeks of no hours of work after being promised a steady amount of hours and days to work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Do your job!! If an employee calls you for help or advice, respond - don't ignore them. Don't threaten them ( yes this really happened more than once, threatened with dismissal for asking a question about my job - see psychotic)."
What do you like about working at Channel Source?
"I love the flexibility and independence it offers. I was able to complete my studies and work at the same time. I like being able to schedule myself to work around my son's school schedule."
What don't you like about working at Channel Source?
"I do not like the fact that they are not very supportive when an employee has a question. I like thinking outside the box but there are times when I have a legitimate question and no one has an answer for me. I have tried to get in contact with Human Resources and it has been in vain."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They should have a designated person to answer representative questions of any sort. Management should make themselves available (by phone or email) to those of us who are not in the metropolitan area so we don't feel ignored."

"I like the ability to be empowered to run your business, make decisions, and be the owner of it all."

"Be mobile or open to relocation at all times, because it is now an expectation."

"You have to be mobile. I have moved five times and am not mobile any more."

"Look at the talent, not the mobility of the person."
